An Invitation to Meaningful Collaboration in Challenging Times

Jan 13, 2026
Connect

We are looking forward to an engaging year in 2026, continuing to support and collaborate with the many good humans working to create and find life giving ways forward in these challenging times.

In our work right now that includes:

  • co-creating containers and conditions for meaningful dialogue and collaboration
  • bringing complexity informed approaches to complex challenges in communities, teams, organizations through training, process design, coaching, hosting/facilitation  and Participatory Narrative Inquiry (PNI)
  • tools and practices for working with our own human inner-systems (minds, emotions, bodies) so we / people can access our best thinking, leadership and contributions in difficult, complex circumstances, and so we can be well in ourselves through challenging times and work.

We are offering some learning and practice opportunities again this year both online and in person (see below). We also continue to support good work and development through consulting and coaching. Feel free to reach out to us.

Wishing you all well in your good work and lives, and thank you for what you are contributing in your families, communities and the world.

A long time friend and colleague of ours, Thomas Arthur, spoke some powerful words at an Art of Hosting with us many years ago: He said â€śIf you have a gift - offer it now!”, don’t wait or hide it away or talk yourself out of it. We need all the gifts in action right now with the many challenges we face as well as the opportunities that exist in the mix. Thank you for sharing your gifts and strengths in all the different ways that are needed and make a difference at every scale. We hope we can all continue to work together and lift each other up.

Designing for OPEN SPACE (and other large group facilitation methods)
Yesterday some very experienced Open Space Technology facilitators convened a session on Qiqochat to talk about how to get the “right” theme for an Open Space. My old friend Thomas Herrmann called the session and I’ve been reading the notes, which were posted publicly on the OSLIST.  There is so much insight here. What they have grappled with is a perennial question for large group process faci...
