Art of Hosting Meaningful Dialogue and Participatory Leadership
Vancouver, November 12th to 14th (filling fast)
The Art of Hosting Meaningful Conversations and Participatory Leadership is an intensive 3-day learning experience where you will practice a set of simple yet powerful approaches for designing and hosting (facilitating) powerful conversations, engagement processes and meetings.
It is an effective way of harnessing the collective wisdom and self-organizing capacity of groups and of bringing genuine participation to leadership. We believe that people give their energy and lend their resources to what matters most to them – in work as in life. These practices invite people to step in and respond to the complex challenges facing them in creative, authentic, innovative and effective ways. We learn and work with tools and practices for honing and developing your own leadership clarity and resilience; strengthening your ability to participate, engage and collaborate with others in meaningful ways; growing your ability to host (facilitate) meaningful dialogue and engagement through highly engaging dialogue methods for a range of group sizes, as well as design steps to help you think through what approaches and methods best meet the needs of the moment, group, challenge and/or opportunity.
It is always inspiring to us how many amazing, interesting humans join us for this program, bringing passion, experience in a wide range of roles and sectors, sticky challenges from their work in the world, as well as stories about the ways they are contributing to their communities and organizations despite the challenges of the times. We have participants that are local, and international; some who are just starting out in the work of dialogue, engagement and participatory leadership and others who are decades into their work in the world, providing a dynamic and rich learning space for all of us.
